Saudi Arabia jambiya / janbiyya / khanjar in mounted scabbard. These janbiyyas witth their distinctive long, curved blades are particularly associated with the conservartive Wahabi sect of Sunni Muslims. The Wahabite is the largest jambiya because its blade length isn't as curved as shorter versions. The blade is double edged without a central rib. The blade is noticeably thin and flat. The hilt is made from wood and white metal mounted, the front has extensive ornamentation shaped as pearl nodules. The scabbard is made of wood and metal bound. This khanjar is in good condition and has some age related wear.

The term Wahabite is a general name for the people of Saudi Arabia and Yemen. Locally this type of jambiya is called a Sabak (Hejaz) or Sebiki (Yemeni).

Overall length in the scabbard: 52 cm (20 1/2")
