This is a very scarce 1st edition copy of McTaggart’s great metaphysical work “The Nature of Existence”, volume one, from 1921.

This is an ex-library copy with stickers, stamps, pastes etc.

The binding is solid and the boards are very sturdy. There is sunning to the boards (especially on the spine), rubbing and crushing to the spine ends, with a small split/tear to the top of the spine.

Decked edges and high quality, thick paper. With the exception of a couple of Westfield college library stamps (I believe there is only one on the title page and one at the end of the index), the text is clean and clear.
