Up for sale is an Antique Early 19th Century English Scenic Toleware Bread Tray. Circa 1800-1860s.

The tray features a gorgeous Black & Gold hand painted scene of people on boats with houses/huts and landscape with trees and water all around. The tray was made in Europe in the early-mid 19th Century. It features an eyelet on the back for hanging the tray on a wall.

There is a lot of wear/loss to the paint around the edges and many small spots of paint loss throughout and a mark on the bottom from where a sticker used to be as seen in the photos. Otherwise the tray is in good condition with no cracks, chips or dents. Overall the tray still displays beautifully.

Measurements are approximately:
2 7/8" Tall.
14 7/16" x 8 3/8" Rim
5 3/8" x 8" Base.

This is an antique item and may have manufacturers imperfections which do not affect the display of the piece.
