Thank you for looking.
I have been listing this item now for well over 3 years; many ebayers view it, and just as many watch it. However, now there are more important things in life than ebay. If it is not bought this time round then it will be disposed of, and the chance for anybody to add it to their collection will be lost for good.
This Lotus, from Lincoln Intenational / TRIX Lotus (24 or 25 maybe) slot race (High Revs), is probably about as mint as you are likely to find these days. The 'High Revs' means that this car has the imaginative engine noise.
I bought the complete set (2 cars, track, battery transformers, controls, cars and accessories) which had never been used, over 35 years ago, and from that day to this it has been lovingly stored, and over the years its condition certainly has not deteriorated. For fear of this car being stored for a good number of years to come, it really needs to finds a new home. The car has never been on display.
This car could be bought as a single item, with the packaging being a blister pack on a carded base. It was also included in the set 7060.
The motor has never been tested on or off the track. Also not tested is the engine noise. The lever at the front moves freely from the right hand side to just past the middle position.
Please study the photographs carefully as they can show the condition of this item much better than I could describe it.
Comes from a smoke-free, pet-free, child-free and wife-free home!
As with
practically all items that I dispatch, this will be insured and requires a
signature on delivery.
Please
note that the price I quote you is not only the postage rate as charged by the
chosen carrier, but also includes the commission charged by ebay, the
commission charged by paypal, packaging, time taken to pack the item, time
taken to travel to the Post Office, printing of labels etc. If you do not agree with the cost I give
you, then please DO NOT buy this item. By
buying the item you contractually agree to the price; so then leaving negative or inappropriate feedback simply because of the postage and packaging
charge is both unethical and immoral; but I am afraid to say that is what some ebay
buyers do these days!
