This adaptor ONLY provides 110v at the outlet of the 3-Pin Socket. It does NOT convert from 110v to 230v.
It is intended for use with devices that are either 'Dual Voltage' (set to 110v of course) or powered by a 'Switch Mode Power Supply' etc. That does cover many PC adaptors, Phone and Camera chargers, and a wide range of Portable Tools.
Check the rating plate on any device you wish to use BEFORE YOU PLUG IT IN and make sure it says something like.... INPUT: 100-240V~
If in any doubt about the capabilities of any device, please DO NOT USE IT WITH THIS ADAPTOR.

- Cable - No compromises here - 3 x 1.5 mm sq Yellow Arctic Grade cable Rated to 300/500V BS6004 3183A - 1m Long
- 3 Pin Socket - Again a branded item. In this case, Permaplug. Ruggedly built to meet the BS1363/A specification and Rated at 13A.

Importantly, this Adaptor is PAT Tested immediately prior to shipping. Tests are carried out by NVQ qualified staff (not just a 'competent person') and test records maintained with results traceable back to National Standards. You should not get any problems using this adaptor on-site, but if you need a Test Certificate in addition to the usual product labeling to satisfy any Site Safety Officer, just get in touch.
In order to give you the maximum test validity, this Adaptor will be Tested and Certified AFTER purchase so will be shipped out the day after your payment clears. Shipped Second Class Royal Mail, with proof of postage retained, this should still be with you within a few days of purchase.
