This porcelain demitasse cup and saucer was produced in France by Lewis Straus & Sons Limoges in the 1890s.  The saucer is 5 1/4 inches in diameter.  The cup is 2 5/8 inches high with a diameter of 2 3/4 inches.  The cup stands on 3  graceful feet.  Both pieces have a kind of napkin fold design that is slightly textured.  Sections of light peach coloring converge on the powder blue areas.  Gilded oak leaves and acorns accent the corners.  The feet, handle and rims are trimmed with gold.  This is an unique Victorian demitasse set you won’t find else where.  #E573
