This is a great, vintage steel / metal U.S, Mail box, complete with newspaper hook and two matching wall-mount screws. The compartment opens, but we do not have the key for the lock. The compartment will stay closed without locking. The top letter slot is spring-loaded and functions correctly. Painted black with smooth surface. Item has been wiped down with a fragrance-free baby wipe, as it was very dirty when acquired. Measures 11" long, 5.75" wide and 3" deep. This is an excellent decor piece.
