Vintage Storyteller Doll Necklace Artisan Molly Renner New Mexico Needs Repairs

Storyteller necklace by Molly Renner, an artist from New Mexico

The pendant, which appears to be ceramic, features a woman holding a baby with two other babies sitting to her side, similar to the pueblo storyteller figures of the American Southwest. Her headdress is tan with white and black stripes. The babies wear white/gray tops and all of them are wearing mukluks. The back of the pendant is painted clay red.

The pendant measures about 3.5" tall and 3.25" wide. It is signed "M Renner" on the back.

There is no clasp as the 26" necklace slips over your head. There is a silver circle on the back holding the string to the pendant, with a silver tube bead, a silver bead, and a red bead starting the string on both sides of the pendant. The remainder of the string is strung with tiny beads (shell?), predominantly cream with hues of brown, gray, black, and yellow.

Condition: The right end of the pendant broke off; the previous owner attempted repair and it is falling off again. This will need repair/restoration to preserve it to its rightful state.
