Vintage Kelvin White Wilfred Marine Constellation 5" Compass Binnacle Classic pat. 2428346 mounted on wooden shelf with bracket.  It is filled with compass oil and is marked on the casing:  "KELVIN WHITE PAT. 2428346" and the number "CB15324".  The compass itself is marked:  "WILFRED O. WHITE &  SONS, INC.   NEW YORK-BOSTON-BALTIMORE".    The compass housing is about 8" tall and 6-1/2" in diameter.  The wooden shelf it is mounted on is 15" wide x 9-1/4" deep and the bracket is 7-1/4" tall x 6-1/2" deep.
