It comes with the 32Amp 230v single socket top box, that you would need to buy, so that you can plug into the alternator, included also is a Meccalte S20F / T20F double bearing kit 7/8” taper shaft with a pulley. which allows you to attach a drive belt to drive the alternator, or you can remove this, and attach an aluminium casing, which will allow you to couple it to a suitable petrol or diesel engine, which has a 7/8” taper shaft, to drive the alternator instead. The current retail price is £720.

Because of the weight of the unit (41Kg), it is for collection only. But a buyer can arrange for a courier company to come and collect it for them. This would have to be prearranged, to give me time to pack it for transportation. 

Information that anyone thinking of purchasing this Alternator should know. 

It has to run at 3,000rpm to produce 8 KVA, but the rpm will have to go up to 3,100rpm because when you place a load on the alternator, the rpm will then dropped back to 3,000rpm. So what every you use to drive the alternator, you will need to be able to  control the rpm.The alternator is self-regulating, the output is controlled by a capacitor that maintain the voltage. 

I must also mention that the electricity supplied from this type of alternator is only suitable for electrical appliances with no electronic circuit boards installed, like T.V, computers.
