DVD containg over 500 high scans (1200dpi ) ...in addition album pages with captions have also been scanned .
Album belonged to long serving officer Gustav Geilier 1936-1969 eventually reaching rank of Major. Most of the photos cover his service 1936-end of WW2 .
There are plenty of his RAD service , then invasions of Poland , France & Belgium . 
He is seem as a commanding officer with anti aircraft flak towers . A small number of photos show a crashed RAF Lancaster bomber and her captured crew .
In the years following the end of the war , he is pictured as a mining foreman above and below ground .
At some point postwar Gustav re enters military service which the Bundeswehr .There are also a few photos relating to this stage of his life .
Images include some charming photos of him posing with his dog , a German Shepherd .
