This absolutely precious Kewpie baby was in a box full of Kewpie figurines found at an estate sale here in Springfield, MO. Rose O'Neill spent many of her later years here in the Ozarks, and this is where she passed away in 1944.  The doll has a sticker on it from an old doll store, Eubanks  Doll Store, that used to exist in  the 50s in Branson, MO  and who specialized in Eubanks dolls as well as Rose O'Neill kewpies.

This Bisque porcelain doll has no marks except the price sticker, so I can not say what its origin truly is with any certainty.

It stands 6.5" tall and it's arms are attached with wire.  I do not know if this is how it came originally or not, so please bid knowing the lack of info on this very cute Kewpie! There are no chips or cracks.  There is a pinhole near its bellybutton that appears to be from the forming of this doll.

See all pics and feel free to ask any questions.  Thanks for looking!
