Features

● Actuator:

Equipped with Yamaha's unique "TransAcoustic" technology, which uses digital technology to perform functions, but uses an acoustic method for pronunciation. String vibrations converted into electrical signals are transmitted to an actuator (shaker) installed inside the backboard with effects applied. The actuator is the heart of the TransAcoustic guitar, and it converts the effect signals such as reverb and chorus into vibrations that are transmitted to the entire guitar. The Trans-Acoustic Guitar is a guitar that can emit effect sounds on its own, without the need to connect an amplifier or speakers.

Simple and compact design of the control section:

Three simple knobs control the volume level of the effects and line out. The control knobs are compactly designed and mounted inside the body. The body of the guitar has been minimized to bring out the raw sound of the guitar itself.

TA switch/Line-out volume control*.

*Press and hold the TA switch for 0.3 seconds to bring out the TA function.

*When connected to the LINE OUT jack, the volume control for the effects on the main unit and the effects on the outputs can be adjusted simultaneously.

*The reverb type is automatically switched at the 12 o'clock position on the knob.

Newly designed battery box:

The newly designed battery box has a simple shape and is mounted next to the endpin jack instead of on the side panel. This minimizes interference with the guitar body hole and minimizes the effect on the live sound of the guitar. The guitar can be connected to an amplifier or PA equipment and played as an electric acoustic guitar.
