RARE!!!! This is a spectacular green glass and amethyst carnival glass ruffled bowl with scrolled feet featuring the pattern "Grape and Cable" made by the Harry C. Northwood Glass Company of Wheeling, West Virginia, circa 1908.

Exceptional condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs. The iridescence is phenomenal, rich, with lots of green, blue, gold and purple tones. The pattern is well-articulated, well-struck, and unmarred. There are the usual internal air bubbles and straw marks (shearing tool marks) commonly associated with the hand manufacturing of old carnival and opalescent glass. Because of the age there are a few tiny scratches on the inside and on the one foot.

Each piece of old carnival glass is unique, no two are exactly alike. This piece is exquisite and rare as they didn’t make many in green glass and has the original mark on the bottom. (Please see photo for authenticity)

Would make a wonderful gift or keep it for yourself to enjoy years to come.
