Do not believe false advertisements and claims from other retailers claiming they supply stainless steel rivets when they are not.
With other Holden/HSV Rivets, the middle will always rust out as the middle is not stainless steel.
Also, if you examine other rivets, look carefully at the difference in colour, texture and hardness of the rod in comparison to the rosette.
You will see with other aftermarket rivets that there has been two different types of metals used and the rosette is thinner than a factory rivet.
This is a shortcut in production as it is cheaper to produce a rivet making the rod in a cheaper metal and thinner rosette.
