This is a once in a lifetime to own a nearly complete service for 12 of vintage to antique mother of pearl handled dinner service. I have collected these pieces over decades. The pattern on all the sterling covers match. The metal parts of most of the individual pieces are silver plated. The exceptions are the blades of the dinner knives, the cheese knife and the carving set are stainless steel and they are so marked. All the collars are marked sterling. There are no chips or cracks to the mother of pearl handles. The handle on the cake server has a little orangish staining, maybe from sugar. There are two salad serving sets (I tended to get a little carried away when searching for pieces to this set). The soup ladle is just gorgeous. Other serving pieces include 3 different serving forks, a jam spoon, sugar spoon, berry spoon, tomato server, cheese server, strawberry forks, buffet forks and fruit knives.  The first picture shows a complete place setting. I was only able to come up with 9 salad forks, but I have 6 extra dessert forks, so, if serving 12 people, one could substitute 3 of those for the salad forks. For reference, the longest piece is the carving knife at 12 1/2 inches. The dinner knives are 9 inches long. I have decided to sell all of this together. I am down-sizing in anticipation of moving. If all this doesn't sell, I will let it go at an estate sale.  As I purchased many of thee items individually, my asking price is far below what I actually paid for all of this. Questions are welcome.
