The VOX AD100 VTH Valvetronix amplifier gives you a boutique selection of 11 great American and British amplifiers via a rotary selector, and its Valve Reactor technology gives you both realistic valve tone and feel as well. Intuitive knob-based editing makes operation easy while 11 great-sounding digital effects include auto-wah, compressor, delay, reverb, phaser, chorus, flange, trem, rotary, and combination give you tons of tonal choices. An adustable power amp output control lets you lower the AD100VTH volume without losing the drive and over-drive tone. A rear panel global presence control allows tuning the AD100VTH head amp to different cabs tonal characteristics. The AD100VTH pairs up with the VOX V412BK speaker cab for a half-stack that rages. Switch between three stored sound settings, and toggle either effects bypass or manual mode with the optional VOX VFS2 footswitch. The VOX Valve Reactor circuit found in the AD100VTH uses a digital preamp with a single ECC83/12AX7 triode preamp valve which acts as a small power amplifier driving an output transformer dynamically, similar to a true all valve amp.
