Geared centre column. Pan and tilt head. No Case inc. Locks out really well, needs a bit of effort to pull the legs in and out but its an easy system , strong twist and then push or pull. For the People out there who want to tell me all about their kit ..... NO ... you can`t use this with a £5000 DSLR with a £12,000 9000mm F1.4 super tele lens and a flashgun capable of blinding pilots on the international space station all weighing in at 45 kilos ..... it`s for lightweight compacts and the like :o) Free UK P&P .
