As a designer and someone who served on the Art Institute Board of Directors, I was immediately attracted to this when attending a HIGHEND BACKROOM SALE of a company that specializes in estate sales.  You are bidding on an ORIGINAL SIGNED A.D. COOK ABSTRACT METAL PANAL done in 2007.  A.D. COOK is an ARTIST who is world renowned and has a GALLERY in LAS VEGAS. He specializes in PANELS that are AUTOMOTIVE INSPIRED and utilize AUTOMOTIVE URETHANES, GOLD LEAF, METAL FLAKES on HAND GROUND ALUMINUM. His pieces sell in the $3000 and up range with panels similar to this one going in the $4000 range. It is ENTITLED ABSTRACT 2692 and MEASURES 28" BY 8".  It is SIGNED on the FRONT and also on the BACK of the piece. The piece has a WOOD STRIP in the BACK so the PIECE will FLOAT when hung.   It was hanging horizontally by the former owner but I believe COOK intended for it to be hung vertically by where the signatures are located.  Nice to know you can do either.
