An adorable early round faced all bisque mignonette made by Simon & Halbig for the French market.  She is 5.75" tall and in very good condition. She dates from around 1880 - on

Her sweet little face with kid lined swivel head has perfect pale bisque with a light blush to her cheeks, lovely blue fixed glass eyes, finely painted lower lashes, and a closed mouth.

She has her original blonde mohair wig but her pate is missing.

Her early  five piece all bisque body is peg jointed at the shoulders and hips, with painted brown shoes and white socks.

Her lovely antique clothing consists of a blue sailor style dress and matching beret. French style lace trimmed panties.

Condition.

Perfect head, arms and legs. Body has two very very fine hairline cracks at the top of back and front left shoulder these have been reinforced, they are hard to photograph and are not at all disturbing. And there is a very very tiny red firing mark on her right wrist. The rest of her body is in very good antique  condition.
