Smooth sharpening, strong abrasive power.
Besides the abrasive surface, it is protected by cashew. 
This stone was used by a master carpenter who retired 10 years ago to polish planes and chisels. It is also recommended for knife polishing. 
The 〇市特撰印= Maruichi Tokusenin seal is stamped on the side.
