With power on all vacuum tubes light up. When I selected AM I heard some sound from the unit. I am certain by taking the cover off, removing and cleaning contacts of vacuum tubes as well spraying contact cleaner on switches will help for complete operation.

There are 2 cracks on the display, one on top right and one on top left. However, they do not interfere in any way while tuning the receiver.
