Rover V8 3.5L. Block bored with 0.020” oversized pistons. Deck height set for improved head gaskets. Both cylinder heads skimmed. All valve seats cut and valves lapped in. New core plugs installed all round. Oil gallery plugs tapped out and threaded bungs installed. Later style oil pick up and sump fitted to suit front cover. Later style front cover with crank driven oil pump was chosen as the distributor was not needed. Due to the use of the later front cover a different camshaft was fitted (4.0l one) along with new tapped holes to fit a cam retaining plate. 4.0l camshaft with new hydraulic lifters. Crank keyway machined to suit longer key for oil pump. New pistons on original press fit rods. Block, heads and carburettors all Vapour blasted.
