Welcome to my page and thank you for looking trough my listings !

I service professionally any vintage lens.

This is something I do in my spare time ,  for many years, no matter of make and model.

I do this because of my passion for photography, for vintage lenses , and so you guys can enjoy a vintage glass on it's full potential, without having to worry about the issues that an 40/60/70  years old lens has without being service.

This listing is for the Carl Zeiss Sonnar 135mm f3.5

The lens has been fully serviced (I never service a lens partially ) , completely disassembled, every little part has been cleaned, washed, polished, re lubricated.

The washing process , with detergents, not only helps for a nice and clean look of the barrel, getting all the dust out, but it also eliminates the risk of any fungal traces/spores may exist on the parts.

I use a very high quality grease for my lenses, homemade by one of the ebay members.  You can find his grease here on eBay.

The lens has received a full service, which consists of a complete disassembly, cleaned every part of the lens, mechanichally and optically, re greasesd where appropriate and assembled.

The focus mechanism  is smoot as it should as well as the aperture mechanism .

New highest quality grease on the focusing mechanism.

Since this lenses are known for the stuck aperture blades, the aperture mechanism has been disasembled completely and cleaned ofold oil.The blades arefree from oil, peefect dry and clean.

The optical elements have been exposed to uv-c light  while they were disassembled as a precaution to exclude any potential fungus , also treated with my "special" anti fungal cream.

Optically it is in good very good condition with one fault described below.

The optical elements are cristal clear with no haze  or separation,no coating damages, no major scratches.

There is one small scratch, around 3-4mm in length and very thin on the  front element. You can see it clearly in the first photo, on the edge of the front element, near the letter "Z".

The lens is tested and performs beautiful as it should.

For the barrel condition please inspect all the photos as they are part of the description. The barrel shows signs of wear and faded paint as you can see in the photos.

Please feel free to request more photos .
