the Portal, precursor of all laptops computer
in the world.
The world's first laptop computer: the Portal, built at the end of the 70s,
in this
period, for its commercialization from 1980, a management software package has
been developed specifically for the Portal, according to its technical
characteristics.
Commercialized from 1980 by the French company
CCMC with a management software package, in new condition, in perfect condition
of appearance and operation. It has all the capabilities of a desktop computer
in a small volume and was a precursor at that time in allowing the mobility to
its users.
Dimensions of the Portal : 45 cm × 45 cm × 15 cm,
weight 12 kg, features: Intel 8085 8-bit processor, 64K central memory,
keyboard, 32-character screen, floppy disk drive capacity 140,000 characters,
integrated thermal printer 28 characters/second, asynchronous and synchronous
channels, Prologue operating system, 220-volt power supply.
Supplied with original floppy disks: system and
utilities, telecommunications, accounting entry and self-training program, as
well as the documentation sheets of each of the software, a roll of original
thermal paper and the cord for connection to the electrical network.
