CCMC Portal, the first laptop computer in the world, new condition

More than 40 years later, extremely rare example in this perfect condition of the Portal, precursor of all laptops computer in the world. 

The world's first laptop computer: the Portal, built at the end of the 70s, in this period, for its commercialization from 1980, a management software package has been developed specifically for the Portal, according to its technical characteristics. 

Commercialized from 1980 by the French company CCMC with a management software package, in new condition, in perfect condition of appearance and operation. It has all the capabilities of a desktop computer in a small volume and was a precursor at that time in allowing the mobility to its users.

Dimensions of the Portal : 45 cm × 45 cm × 15 cm, weight 12 kg, features: Intel 8085 8-bit processor, 64K central memory, keyboard, 32-character screen, floppy disk drive capacity 140,000 characters, integrated thermal printer 28 characters/second, asynchronous and synchronous channels, Prologue operating system, 220-volt power supply.

Supplied with original floppy disks: system and utilities, telecommunications, accounting entry and self-training program, as well as the documentation sheets of each of the software, a roll of original thermal paper and the cord for connection to the electrical network.
