This incredible 2005-P Jefferson nickel has a EXTREMELY RARE minting error caused by a chipped die. The coin itself is near perfect yet inside the top of the S in the word "CENTS" there is an extra area of metal, caused by a chipped die, that makes the S look like a Snake, hence the name "Snake's head S".
This is one of only EIGHT known of this anomaly.
