This Kutani China Oval Gravy Boat with Attached Liner is part of a local estate closing with a large collection of this Kutani pattern. The gravy boat itself is 6 inches across the widest point between the ladle rest indentations & 4.5 inches wide. It hold 8-10 ounces easily. It doesn't appear to have been used much IF at all...it was still wrapped in tissue paper & stored in the back of the china cupboard.

I was unable to find a "name" for this pattern, only a pattern code number...the family tells me that Grama was a flight attendant back in the day & often told stories about flying into Tachikawa in the late 60s., so they're pretty certain the Kutani China was actually purchased in Japan. I was unable to find whether or not this pattern is still in production. If you're looking to add to your collection of this pattern, this is a good piece to have. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask!
