Antique SHAKER Incised OAT CRUSHER Grooved NOODLE Maple Rolling PIN  We have collected Rolling Pins whenever we find a unique or special one and this one fits the bill.  This appears to be one of the Shaker Community Rolling Pins.  They are sometimes referred to as Oat Crusher Style Pins. This one has two separately inserted handled ends with incised line around the end of each handle. Some of these are one piece types with it all being made out of one piece of wood.  This one has the center grooved area as one piece and each handle moves independently while using the rolling pin for ease of use.

It measures approximately 11.5" long and the diameter of the pin is approx 1.75" although it is difficult to measure.  It would make a Wonderful addition to your Shaker Collection or would be great for your Primitives, Rolling Pin or Accessories Collection.
