Here is a 1972 Gibson P90 single coil pickup. 

It has the cover with it that has the "Gibson" Logo Embossed on it.

Most of the covers with "Gibson" on them were made in 1972.

It could be a 1971 or a 1973 but mostly 1972. 

Also the clear Bobbins started in 1968 and continued till late 70's. 

The Bad is the clear top plate is broken and I assume the metal base has been bent.

I have never seen a base that wasn't flat but possibly it was made that way. 

It should be easily bent back to flat. 

The pickup has continuity and works fine.
