Description
With a single cutaway original body style, selected African mahogany for the body and neck and ebony for the fingerboard, the IFG-AC-24 DIA is an inlay front model with mother-of-pearl inlay on the top.
It has a 635mm scale, set neck joint, and medium size 24 frets.
A total of 140 mother-of-pearl inlays are placed along the perimeter of the body top, and each inlay is carefully embedded by hand.
The subtle difference in brightness and color of the real shells is beautifully reflected in the matte black body.
The control back plate on the back of the body features a classic look with the words "A. C. ZEMAITIS SINCE 1955" engraved on it.
The bridge and tailpiece are made of Zemaitis' original aluminum alloy, an element that produces Zemaitis' unique tone.
The head diamond emblem, truss rod cover, tailpiece, and control and switch back plates are also made of aluminum alloy and are engraved.
The pickups are two open-type Dragon Burst humbuckers with black pickup rings.
Controls are the well-known CTS pots, with each pickup volume and each pickup tone layout.
A Switchcraft 3-way pickup selector switch is provided, and the tone capacitor uses an orange drop.
It also uses Switchcraft output jacks, which are located on the top of the body.
In addition, highly reliable Gotoh tuners are used.
The finish is lacquer and the color is black.
A sturdy hard case is included.
The inlay behind the bridge on the top is made of thick white mother-of-pearl and features the traditional Zemaitis design of four squares arranged in a central circle.
Two original "Dragon Burst" open-type humbuckers with black pickup rings are mounted.
Output jacks are located on the top.
