James Jacques Joseph Tissot TYPE OF BEAUTY Framed & Completed Cross Stitch
This beautiful and unique framed cross stitch piece from artist James Jacques Joseph Tissot is titled "Type of Beauty" (a true work of art) was stitched by my mother in
2008. This intricate and detailed stitching is 100% handmade,
and the framework was done by a local small-business owner here in
Southern Louisiana, which makes it a one-of-a-kind piece. The frame, which
measures 27 1/4 inches in length and 21 3/4 inches in width with a depth of 1 3/4-inch, is also of high quality and complements this piece perfectly.
When
considering this item, please take into account that cross-stitching takes a
lot of time - months, sometimes even years to complete. Though the frame might
bear some wear (see photos) every stitch was a labor of love.
