Limited boxed pin that proudly displays “Disney Vacation Member Cruise” written on the side of an Alaskan mountain with the Disney Cruise Line ship in for foreground with the year 2015 at her starboard side.
This rare item was only given to Disney Vacation Club (DVC) member owners who sailed on the Members only Alaska Cruise. Disney celebrated this historic event by giving merchandise to members as exclusive gifts. Such gifts included: Totem Poles, Limited Edition Prints, Limited Edition Pins, Limited DVC themed Clue Board game, Totes and much more.
Disney also had numerous “Special Guest Stars” including:
· Broadway talent: Josh Strickland (Tarzan) & Ashley Brown (Marry Poppins)
· James Ford Murphy – Veteran Pixar Animation Studios filmmaker
· Mark Linfield – Renowned DisneyNature Films director
· Bill Farmer – Legendary voice of Goofy
· Eric Goldberg – Legendary Disny animator
· Plus other Disney talents such as: Alton Fitzgerald White, Merly Dandridge, John E. Brady, Dave Bossert, Mark Ferrera, John Pelkey, Tim O’Day, Ryan March, Bill Farmer, and Becky Cline
About the Curise:
· This cruise set sail May 25-June 1 2015 out of Vancouver Canada and traveled to several Alaskan Ports of Call.
· The Disney Wonder was the chosen vessel
· Sailed through Tracy Arm fjord near Juneau, Alaska
· Ports of call included: Skagway, Juneau, and Ketchikan Alaska
· This was the first ever 7 day Members Cruise
· This was the first ever Alaska Members Curise
· This was the first ever Western Member Voyage
· Screening of the word premiere release of Pixar’s movie “Inside Out”
