Description

This Sony VGC-RB30 (RB30) desktop computer is CLEAN and saw little use.  This is THE machine for converting home movies from an old Sony Handycam or Canon Camcorder tapes to video, DVD or digital video clips.  This is due to the included Sony proprietary software that came installed on this particular computer.  All the orginal software is present.  All ports are working.  Pictures are of the computer you will receive.

The process of transferring analog (tape) to digital home movies goes like this.  You would place the video tape (whether its Standard 8, 8mm, Hi8, MiniDV) in the handycam. Attach the handycam to the computer through either an iLINK or USB port.  (Other video recorder brands such as JVC or Canon will plug into a USB port)  Press play on the handycam and record in the Dvgate software.  After the tape has played, you can crop & adjust the video.  Then burn the digital video to a DVD through Click to DVD software or keep as a digital file.
