A Size 10 pair of 1940 pattern Air Ministry 22c/750/1 issued suede/wool lined flying boots. Working puller AM zips with good rubber galosh and ITSHIDE soles and heels that are not worn away. These belonged to S/L John Busby Gordon King DFC who flew with 50 and 142 Squadrons, and are both named to him on the leather tongue. Can be worn or displayed. I am also selling his size 6 Irvin jacket, his battle dress and side cap along with a spare set of pilot wings, his ditching whistle and escape compass, pilot notes. He was wounded in March 1944 in Italy with 142 Squadron.
