(Bad Lock!!!) Fuji Fuica GW690 / GSW690 Professional Genuine Camera Lens Hood

This hood is in BGN condition with signs of wear. The locking mechanism on this hood doesn't work unfortunately. The silver locking screw is supposed to tighten the metal ring that goes around the rim of the hood. It appears that there was a threaded portion in the plastic of the hood that has become stripped over time. Turning the silver locking screw doesn't tighten the ring like normal. I tested this hood on a 67mm filter and there isn't enough tension for the hood to stay mounted. The silver locking screw is also a bit wobbly. This hood could probably be fixed to a degree if a slightly larger screw was used in place of the current screw. It might also be possible to use some other method to keep the hood attached to the camera.

There are also some scuffs and scrapes in the plastic.

This hood is specifically for the first versions of the Fuji Fujica GW690 Professional & GSW690 Professional.

Condition:

EX     "Excellent" Shows moderate wear. May have small dents and/or dings and

             slight finish wear.

BGN  "Bargain" Shows more than average wear. May have dents, dings and/or brassing

              and finish loss.

UG    "Ugly" Very rough looking. Multiple impressions in metal, excessive finish loss
            and brassing.
