This Civil War era flask is made of heavy glass covered in brown leather with a slide on pewter cup on the bottom. It measures 7.5" tall and 4" wide. The screw top works well and is still lined with the original cork. The glass bottle is embossed "M.V, Olry Philidelphia" on the bottom.

The patent on the cap is dated September 25, 1866.

The leather is cracking and falling apart and may not last much longer.
