Robert used an old Traditional handmaking process similar to his ancestors using old vinyl records or recycled material to set the stones. Depression era Santo Domingo mosaic jewelry were accomplished with the same techniques. Genuine Santo Domingo jewelry are very hard to find, due to the dwindling number of artisans at the Pueblo. 

This bolo tie was purchased directly from the artist, Robert Rosetta, a member of the Santo Domingo (Kewa) Pueblo tribe, New Mexico.
