This 1904 Louisiana Purchase Expo gold coin, with a denomination of 25C and a composition of 0.9 fineness, is a rare find for collectors. It has been certified by NGC with a certification number of 6330921-001, and graded as MS 67. The strike type is proof-like and it is one of only six coins with this particular grade.


The obverse of the coin features 10 stars, representing the 10 states that were part of the Louisiana Purchase, while the reverse shows the portrait of Thomas Jefferson and the iconic Louisiana Purchase exposition emblem.
