1927 Lucky Lindbergh Coin. This is one of two of these coins that I have availble (see other listings). Measures 32mm diameter. Struck by the Whitehead & Hoag mint. The obverse reads: "FIRST NONSTOP FLIGHT NEW YORK TO PARIS - MAY 20TH MAY 21ST 1927 - CAPT. CHARLES A. LINDBERGH" and the reverse reads: "LUCKY LINDBERGH COIN - THE SPIRIT OF ST. LOUIS - WHITEHEAD-HOAG." There is a small ding on the edge that appears to be a mint error as it is on the same position of both sides, and there is no other damage apparent.
