This is a classical microscope from the German microscope manufacturer "Ernst Leitz Wetzlar." It appears to date back to around 1920. Ernst Leitz Wetzlar was the predecessor of the renowned camera manufacturer "Leica."

It seems to have been a high-performance microscope for its time.

It bears the inscription "No.199212" which appears to be a manufacturing serial number. There is a certificate of purchase from the 13th year of Taisho (1924), indicating that it was manufactured before that date.

Due to long-term storage, it is difficult to determine if it is complete. There are signs of paint chipping, rust, and discoloration, but it seems to be in good condition for display purposes, although not pristine. Please judge based on the provided images.

Although only tested within the range of handling for photography, its operation is remarkably smooth.
