This is the complete set of the 1996 Book of the Month Club of Jane Austen’s works. It was printed in England by Clays Ltd.

The hardcovers feature dust jackets from the costume collection at the Victoria & Albert Museum.

The books are charmingly illustrated by Hugh Thompson.

The collection: Sense and Sensibility , Pride and Prejudice, Northanger Abbey, Mansfield Park, Emma, and Persuasion.

Condition: Good. Some dust jackets have minor bumped corners, Sense & Sensibility has a front lower corner which is bumped with a small tear to the DJ.  Reverse DJ of Emma has wrinkling and slight tear to lower corner.  (photo 13). Persuasion has brief annotation in ink to the reverse of the Illustrations page. 

Altogether a charming set with whimsical illustrations and historical dress covers.
