These are the top post sections an antique 1800's rope bed headboard. Hand crafted & highly carved & turned thus not exactly matching in all dimensions but very nearly so. Look to be Maple with cannon ball top & tapered mid-sections.
In very good condition with a couple small edge nicks & drying cracks. Yes, one is slightly taller than the other. These measure 18 1/2" and 18 3/4" tall and 3 1/2" in diameter across the widest part. The base diameter also measures 3 1/2" across.
If needed I can install a wooden dowel post or steel 3/8" dowel screw or hangar bolt.
