This model, limited to 24 pieces at the time, arrived in Japan in very beautiful condition. This model features a special 21-fret spec and vintage toaster top pickups, with a round-shoulder spec that was futuristic around 1965, when the style changed from a double-bound body.

The body is made of maple semi-acoustic construction, the neck is a maple multiple neck, the fingerboard is rosewood, and two vintage toaster top pickups are mounted.

The instrument has been handled with great care, and there are only a few dents on the top of the body where your elbow hits when you hold the instrument in the upright position.

The plated parts are a little cloudy, and the tailpiece is a little sore. Overall, the instrument is in very beautiful condition with a glossy paint job.

The neck is in good condition and the truss rod is functioning properly. The frets have some dents, but remain high enough.

The "Fireglo" finish on the body gives it a vintage look, and it is a very cool looking model.

The sound is a great match for the toaster top pickups, which give it a vintage-like tone with reduced power!

The Rickenbacker's unique 12-string sound, with the main strings set on top, is a tone that is difficult to express on other 12-string guitars.
