 [CTM GPCE-BLACK]

All black Martin electric acoustic guitar produced in 2017 in a limited edition of 28 pieces.

Unusual for Martin, not only the entire body but also the head and back of the neck are painted black.

The coloring gives a very chic and adult impression, and the electric-acoustic specifications include a cutaway + pickup.

This model is different from the traditional Martin style.

The body size adopts the Grand Performance (GP) body shape, which is familiar to electric acoustic guitars and has a thickness similar to that of a dreadnought, but with a firm constriction.

This is a highly practical model that combines a sound created with a focus on punching out the treble while maintaining its power, and a cutaway that makes it easy to play in high positions.

All solid body with Sitka spruce top and Sapele sides and back.

Sapele wood is a wood with tonal characteristics similar to mahogany, with a rich midrange and sharp sound, and it matches well with the mature look.

The pickup is equipped with Fishman Matrix VT Enhance NT2, which is perfect for Martin guitars.

The under saddle piezo pickup tone and master volume controls are located in the 6th string side hall.

On the 1st string side, there is a volume control for the Enhance function that characterizes this pickup.

The enhancement function refers to the ability to capture vibrations inside the body using the enhancement transducer installed in the bridge plate.

It is possible to add a wide body to the core part of the undersaddle pickup that mainly captures string vibration.

By mixing them together, you can create even more acoustic-like sounds.

Compared to similar types of pickups, such as under-saddle x condenser microphones, it is less prone to howling and has a high-performance pickup function that is easy to use.

【condition】

Due to the black color, some small scratches are noticeable, but the overall impression is that there are few scratches.

There are no problems with performance or use, and the playability is good.

There is plenty of room for frets, truss rod, saddle, etc.

The neck is in good condition, with no twists, warping, or origination.

The string height is kept at the standard value of approximately 2.5 mm on the 6th string side and approximately 2.0 mm on the 1st string side above the 12th fret.

This is a high quality item that can be used for many years to come.
