1828 O.114 Capped Bust half dollar, NGC AU53 and CAC approved.  Note that this is Die State 114.4, as described by the very informative, new BHNC publication, "Die State Progressions of the Capped Bust Half Dollar Die Varieties 1807-1836" (which is available from us exclusively, either here on ebay or on our website).  DKRC describes this die state as 114.45.  The die crack at star 7 is just starting to appear, and shows only from rim to upper inside point of S7.  The coin is wonderfully pleasing, smooth-surfaced and choice in every way.  The rich, thick, antique deep golden gray patina is virtually perfect, and the resulting eye appeal is outstanding.  Thanks for your participation, and good luck.
