This is a tape deck speed and azimuth calibration setup cassette with lots of extra tones. (tape deck not included)

It's a brand new Maxell UR90 Cassette with lots of useful test tones recorded on it.

The cassettes have all been recorded on my nakamichi ZX7 tape deck that has been fully serviced and calibrated (January 2023) using a professional set up.

Nakamichi used to produced all their own calibration cassettes on ZX machines due to having full manual adjustment control of the azimuth and bias settings. Most machine do not have this option so will not be able to produce as accurate recording due to imperfections of tape travel.

I am able to ensure the perfect azimuth alignment and bias levels for each individual cassette recorded. I also used computer software to give a very accurate level. 

The cassettes are also double checked with a sony quartz locked tape deck.
So the tones speeds are very accurate measuring lower than 0.04 wow and flutter.

To use the tape down load a frequency counter app for your phone.
Play the tape and check the frequency on the app.
If needed adjust the speed of your tape decks motor.
This will be on the back of the motor or a pot on the circuit board.
