This set of 2 vintage Portobello Pottery lidded jars features beautiful hand-painted thistle and bluebell designs, inspired by native Scottish flowers. These sweet little pots are approximately 3" tall. Each little pot is shaped a little bit different.
The jars are made from ceramic materials featuring tightly sealing wooded lids. The colorful floral pattern on the jars makes them an ideal addition to any decorative pottery and glassware collection. The Portobello Pottery kilns made ginger beer bottles, whiskey flagons, hot water bottles as well as decorative pottery. The Portobello Pottery company closed in 2000.
I found these 3 weeks ago in a charity shop on the High Street in Dingwall Scotland.
