Molnia Cal. 3602 is a copy of Cortebert Cal. 616 which was also used by Rolex as Rolex Cal. 618. 
     The Molnija watch factory was founded in 1947 in Chelyabinsk, Russia, and produced watches for the Soviet military and civilian markets. The factory was known for producing high-quality and reliable mechanical watches, many of which were based on Swiss designs. Molnija watches were popular not only in Russia but also in other countries of the Eastern bloc and beyond.
      One of the most famous Molnija watches is the "Pocket Watch 3602," which was produced from the 1950s to the 1980s. This watch was known for its accuracy, durability, and distinctive design, which featured a large white dial with bold black numerals and hands.
     In the 1990s, after the collapse of the Soviet Union, the Molnija factory was privatized and continued to produce watches under various brand names. Today, Molnija watches are highly sought after by collectors for their historical significance and unique designs.
