The time has come, now is your once in a lifetime chance to own a Ford Best of Show winner from the SEMA Show.

That’s right, the 2021 Tjin Edition Ford Mach-E California Edition is for sale. What started as a brand new black on black 2021 Ford Mach-E, was completely transformed from top to bottom, inside and out, with the best aftermarket parts available.

These modification transformed a stock Ford Mach-E into Best of Show winner at the 2021 SEMA Show. Ford Motor Company only had 3 Ford Mach-E’s in their booth at the SEMA Show in 2021, and the Tjin Edition Ford Mach-E stole the show. From its custom orange paint job, to one-off Air Lift suspension (with insane / futuristic frunk), to custom built Vossen forged wheel and Yokohama tires, to the custom Baer front and rear big brakes, to the custom interior featuring two Recaro seats and orange SeatBelt Planet seatbelts, the Tjin Edition Ford Mach-E is the total package.

After winning Best of Show at SEMA, and being showcased in the Ford booth at the LA Auto Show, the Tjin Edition Mach-E returned to Southern California, where it became the Tjin’s daily driver for about 12 months (before being showcased at Electrify Showoff in Long Beach California in 2023).

After the LA Auto Show, the Tjin Edition Ford Mach-E went back into the body shop for a complete Mach-E GT front-end conversion. The Mach-E GT conversion includes a new set of GT LED headlights, grill, front bumper and front lip, which were all color matched orange to the rest of the body (which includes painted door jams, frunk area, and rear hatch). The custom exterior orange is from PPG and can be found on the Porsche GT3’s, and to set things off, world renowned pinstripes Jeff Styles add some flavor via white and teal striping.  Rounding out the exterior is a custom hitch which can be found on the European Mach-E’s and that is paired with a 1Up bike rack.

Once the exterior of the Tjin Edition Mach-E was completed, it was time to focus on the suspension, wheels, and tires and really make this exterior of this Mach-E one of a kind. For that they enlisted the help of one of the top suspension companies in the industry, Hoppos Suspension, who was responsible for building the first custom air suspension for the Mach-E. The team worked with Air Lift Suspension and built a fully adjustable (7” of travel) suspension for the Mach-E, which can be set at stock height, ride height, and slammed to the ground for when at shows, or when you want to showoff at the movies, or when you are out and about. What really sets the Tjin Edition Ford Mach-E apart, and was a big reason it won Best of Show, is the insane futuristic air set-up in the frunk. Hoppos didn’t hold back with the customization of the air suspension components in the frunk, which include a clear Universal air tank, two Viair compressors, custom hard lines, powdercoated stands, LED lights, fans and etched plexiglass. The frunk of the Tjin Edition Ford Mach-E is truly a work of art and something never seen before in EV build.

Once the suspension was dialed in, the team worked with Vossen and Yokohama tires for the perfect set of wheels for the Mach-E. The custom set of one-off 22x10” Vossen ML-R1 wheels were poweredcoated in white with custom teal center caps, to match the 6piston Baer front and rear big brakes and cross drilled rotors. The 22” Vossen wheels are matched up to Yokohama 265/35/22” tires.

The interior of the Tjin Edition Ford Mach-E was kept simple and clean, as this build was always intended to be a daily driver, and with a family of four, function and comfort was kept in mind. The stock front Mach-E seats have been replaced with custom wrapped Recaro (fully reclinable seats), and orange SeatBelt planet seatbelts. The rear seats and door panels are black leather, and super comfortable.

For those wondering why the Tjin’s are parting with their Best of Show Ford Mach-E, the answer is simple, they built another Mach-E, they have enjoyed this “California Dreaming Mach-E”, and they want someone else to enjoy this Mach-E, either as daily driver, or show piece.
