The Box is intact with all it's parts.  Hinges, Lock for outer doors, Jade, and all the drawers.  

The Jade is hand carved very intricately.  The sides of this box has two panels of jade instead of only one.  The panels appear to be a flower, possibly a lotus blossom on a stem.  The side panels follow this same theme

There is a lot of brass on this box protecting the corners and for handles.  Please look at pictures. I tried to get pictures of the brass patterns.

One of the corners of the lower brass corner piece has been snagged and bent out a little.  I have taken a picture of it.  

The drawers are lined with green silk.  Two drawers have areas for rings and the bottom drawer has a tray in it that comes out to give you another secret area for goodies, I have taken a picture of the bottom of the false drawer to show the pattern used when this box was made.  These drawers show no wear.

There is no staining or discoloration.  The lighting when pictures were taken sometimes gives a different look.  

There is the normal bumps and bruises found with vintage pieces, but nothing major and no broken, cracked, or repairs to this piece.
